What’s New in the 2023 Buick Encore GX?
For the 2023 model year, the Encore GX sees a new color, Moonstone Gray Metallic, joining the range as the major change. That brings the total number of colors on offer to eight. Interior color choices remain at three.
The 2023 Buick Encore GX continues to offer two powertrains. The base engine is a 1.2-liter turbocharged three-cylinder with 137 horsepower and 166 pound-feet of torque. It comes with a CVT automatic transmission and front-wheel drive. The next choice is a turbocharged 1.3-liter three-cylinder with 155 horsepower and 174 pound-feet of torque. It uses a nine-speed automatic transmission and offers optional all-wheel-drive via Buick's intelligent all-wheel-drive system.
The 2023 Encore GX offers a spacious cabin for the class. It can accommodate five adults in its cabin and has 23.5 cubic feet of luggage space.
