Happy Forever

I bought my 2006 Tucson in 2007. This car has been the best I've ever owned! Great gas milage, all the seats go down so I've used it moving. Lots of little extras. I've replaced 1rubber tube, and had the AC worked on. That's it! It's been so good to me all these years. - 5.0

Great car. Hardly no issues been kicking for a very long time. Bought it used at 10000 miles and has hardly giving me any issues. - 5.0
Most reliable car I've ever owned!

I bought my 2007 Tuscon new and couldn't be happier! I usually replace my vehicles every 10 years when the warranty expires, but my Tuscon has been so trouble-free it just didn't make sense to replace it. It hasn't needed a single repair (knock wood) in 15 years! The only thing that needed replacing was the rear window wiper that I accidentally broke off. It still looks showroom new ( I wash it often & use a ceramic type wax a couple times a year.) Living in N.E. Ohio snow can be a problem, but my Tuscon handles even heavy snows without a problem. The anti-lock brakes make even sudden stops safe. It has plenty of room so I can carry loads of firewood, tons of packages and even the occasional appliance. There's a storage area between the front seats that holds about 7 cds plus a little tray under the center armrest where one can put proof of insurance etc. There's another fold-up armrest in the back seat and more storage in the doors. After an injury sustained by a family member we added a wheelchair lift that only takes up a small 2 x 2 fitting in the rear. (The rest of the lift disassembles into 3 pieces.) The electric scooter fits beautifully after removing just the seat. All the doors are wide and the front seats move back far enough that my 6'5" brother can sit comfortably in the front seats. The rear seats have plenty of room depending on how far back the front seats are situated. Even after 15 years it has excellent acceleration so freeway driving is a pleasure. It starts on the first turn of the key regardless of the weather. N. E. Ohio just had one of it's coldest winters in decades and my Tuscon started easily. It still gets about 25mpg on the freeway and roughly 18 city driving which, considering the fact fuel efficiency wasn't a big deal in 2007 is remarkable. We often exceed the recommended oil and transmission fluid replacements by doing early changes and every 3rd or 4th change we have the mechanic do a flush, which we've found helps extend engine life significantly. The stereo system is terrific, and I can set it to where it's like surround sound for the driver. Mine came with the cd/tape deck combo so I can play some of my vintage tapes along with disks. I am extremely happy with my 2007 Tuscon and look forward to driving it for many years to come.
